On Wednesday January 10, our Lodge had the pleasure of passing our Brother Eddie Vela to Fellow Craft. This was a momentous event for myself for a couple of reasons. First, I have been mentoring Brother Eddie and it is wonderful to see his dedication to our Craft and his mind’s ability to learn and retain the proficiency. Secondly, it was the first time in at least a year that PVST #29 has performed a Degree entirely self-sufficiently. It filled me with pride to witness my Brothers stepping beautifully into their roles and putting this Degree together. My special congratulations to Worshipful Brother Scot Baker for his excellent performance of the lecture! I have no doubt that we will be performing Brother Eddie’s Master Mason Degree this year, and our other Entered Apprentice Brothers in the Lodge will soon be stepping up for their Second Degree. I am looking forward to it all as we start of 2024 with a bang! Let there be Light!
